Blue Ridge Baptist Church's purpose is to preach the gospel, to teach the Word of God, to minister in Christian service to the community in which we are located, to promote spiritual development in its members, and to seek the salvation of the lost through evangelism in missions at home and abroad.

​We accept the Holy Bible as the Word of God and recognize that the New Testament in particular is the infallible guide for faith and practice for the church.
Pastor Tom Hurt is a Vinton native. He graduated from Piedmont Bible College (now Piedmont International University) and Calvary Baptist Bible College and Seminary. He has been the Pastor since 1992.
